Bad habits

My first few weeks with Preventable Surprises, I developed a pretty good work habit. I’m meant to work three days a week. I find I’m not a lot of good past 6 or 7 hours per day, so I might work a bit on the fourth day. The e-mail campaign marathon meant I worked 14 days in a row. As time went on, I worked fewer hours each day. Because I hadn’t had a day off, I wasn’t willing to work a solid block of time. Which meant I wasn’t very productive.

Now I have to discipline myself to work in blocks of time for a few days a week instead of doing a little bit here and there and never taking a day off. Part of me likes the little bit here and there approach--I get more done around the house and I get out more. But not buckling down and putting in the hours means I’m getting further behind on P.S. projects. It’s a luxury to work three days per week instead of five. I’m still trying to figure out how to make the most of that luxury so that P.S. and I both benefit.
