Say Yes to the Guest

I have surfaced from the four-paper marathon and will catch up my blog post haste (ha--unintended double entendre on "post").

Here are the four walls of the guest bedroom, before and after. The ceiling was torn out as well as the two Velux windows. The ceiling/roof on either side of the window was raised to give more head room. Note the black-out blind we added--necessitated by the sun rising around 4:30 a.m. and setting around 10 p.m.

In the corner is an old water reservoir, which was part of the oil heating system. That was removed to make room for the en suite bathroom.
