Nothing a good walk won't cure
I found I was not willing to sit down and write on Wednesday so I remembered that I live in Ireland, for God's sake, near the coast, so why not walk for two hours along Belfast Lough, which is what I did. I walked past the farthest point you see here.
I've hiked many sections of the coastal path but not the bit between Cultra and Helen's Bay, which I did today. I saw lots of cormorants, terns, and great blue herons.
Lots of private little beaches.
The occasional dog (not pictured).
Bright green lichen, dark orange lichen.
Sun and cloud but no rain.
I was a very happy and tired woman by the end of it. I continued my avoidance of all things related to fossil fuels by watching old episodes of the Graham Norton Show on Youtube. What a great day.
