Betty @ the beach
I worked this morning while mom had a lie in. I spent an hour and a half on a zoom call with a fixed income analyst trying to explain the flaws in the logic and construction of a 20-page paper. He's the nicest guy--he agreed the paper needs work, so I left him to think through the purpose of each section.
Then mom and I went through the bureaucracy of the PCR test--I struggled with the six step online registration process. Then we went to Holywood in the afternoon to drop off mom's sample. Then tea and dessert at a nice tea shop in Holywood followed by a quick reconnoitre at the Oxfam shop and Camphill, where we bought veg, fresh bread and pastries. Then a short walk on the beach at Sea Park for some fresh sea air. Unfortunately no photos.
Home to get Paddy out for a swim at Orangefield then we went to Louise and Alec where we had a wonderful night discussing Dan Brown, past employer issues, things to do in Donegal, Atlantic City history, Northern Ireland politics, and Emma's artwork (my talented niece). I've been up since 6 a.m. so am very grateful for my bed at 11:20 pm.
