Westport getaway

I went to Westport for a long weekend Sept. 17-21. It was a perfectly timed trip, thanks to gorgeous weather. And my need to get away from house projects and work.

This is very hard for a linear person to do, but I'm going to post backward. These photos are from the last day of the trip. This is a cute wee house in Westport.

And this is the Octagon. I stayed in a room behind a pub--noisy at night but the room was perfect.

And this is Ben Bulben near Sligo.

On the last day, I did a bit of shopping in Westport then took my time driving home. The best bit was stopping at Foxford Woollen Mill and doing some Christmas shopping.
