Wall Update

I no sooner finished painting the ceiling and the yellow walls than I decided the spindles and stairs needed to be painted. So this job will never bloody end. Here's where it started--wallpaper removal.

Then scraping and scrubbing the walls clean of glue then filling in cracks.

Then priming.

Then color coats.

I'll have to get a photo when there's better light. The walls definitely look smart and I now have the 25 spindles painted on the two sets of stairs. Just the steps left--gray in the middle, white at either side.

The upside of this endless project is I've discovered the Blindboy podcast. I'm writing too late at night to make an attempt to describe him. I'll just say his 90 minute podcasts hold my attention like a baby holds a rattle.
