Random photo

Nearly a month ago, David and I did a bike ride to Daft Eddy’s (31 miles roundtrip). We stopped to explore a church ruin and graveyard. He emailed me a photo which, at the time, I had difficulty downloading. I tried again and today succeeded. So here I am, not whistling past the graveyard.

In real time, today I ran the Parkrun 5K. I haven’t studied the results because I don’t want to know how far I’ve fallen--i.e. how my time compares to the last time I ran a year or more ago.
In the afternoon, David and I played nine holes of golf--the incredible weather continues. I played very well at my lesson yesterday, today, not so much. Afterward we called into Crawfordsburn to visit Ann and Rick, whom mom and I visit during the winter when they are in Naples. They are both keen readers and always recommend more books than I will ever get to--I have a stack next to my bed that I haven’t looked at in more than a month. But I DID dust it!
