The good stuff

I’ve mostly whined about being in the U.S. Here are three things I love:
Salad bars. With edamame beans, roasted corn, sunflower seeds, two dozen other things.
California Pizza Kitchen. Which has wonderful salads. And champagne vinaigrette dressing.
Spending time with my mom. She has this habit of telling a story, getting the giggles, and not finishing the story. So I just tell her: Take your time, I’m not going anywhere. While the tears stream down her face. Priceless.
