Tollymore

Kyle perused the mountain of tourist literature I gave her and selected a hike at Tollymore Forest Park in the Mourne Mountain district. I got only one shot b/c my card is out of space and I didn't want to sit and delete photos. It isn't even a good shot.

Hopefully Kyle will send me her shots and I'll upload those.

Game of Thrones films at Tollymore--lots of Gothic gates and imposing battlements. We encountered a GOT tour--a group of Americans in floor-length black robes with fake fur walking around the park. Fox TV was also there filming a SciFi film called Morgan, starring Paul Giamatti and Tobey Jones. You heard it here first.

Our Conversation continued--the state of capitalism, fighting negative impulses, retirement communities, physical ailments, Europe vs. America, and on and on. David is not a very chatty person so it is great fun to be with someone who really enjoys conversation and working through ideas.

We had lunch in Newcastle, made a pilgrimage to Royal County Down, then went home. It was a gorgeous day and a joy to share this beautiful country with someone who was so appreciative of the beauty all around us.
