The Grapes of Wrath

As I’m sure I’ve mentioned, we have a grapevine in the catservatory (a glassed-in room that is covered in fur and cat litter due to the residents).

For the second time this summer, I’ve filled a bucket with grapes that are rotting and/or covered with a white powder. I’m not sure what’s going on.

On a gardening show recently, the presenter took long-nosed scissors (intended for nose hair-ewe), and culled maybe 15% of the grapes on each bunch, allowing some air to circulate within the bunch. I just don’t see that happening in my lifetime. It would take forever. I think the problem above is bigger than airing individual bunches.
