Tee Time

I played Tuesday and Friday this week. Today I played with only one other person and I really enjoyed it, partly because we are well matched and partly because the game goes so much faster. I tried to capture how beautiful the course is, but these photos don’t do it justice .

It’s been a very rainy week, however each time I’ve played golf it’s remained clear.

One of the things I love about the course are the mature oaks. I love oak trees. I planted a few in Chester Springs. They host more species of insects than any other tree. Here’s a description of Belvoir from its website:
"Founded in 1927, this undulating parkland course, which meanders through 136 acres of mature woodland was designed by the famed course architect H S Colt.”
