Stripping (wallpaper)

David has been removing wallpaper from the house like nobody's business. He's also taken out built-in bookcases in two rooms. He's reading a book about the minimalists, a movement in the U.S. to have no more stuff than you absolutely need. Removing many linear feet of shelving will help with that (that isn't why we are removing them, but it's a benefit). I spend more time at Queen's than at the house, but when I'm there my job has been to remove the strips nailed down around each room that secure the carpet. It's kind of fun to get all the extraneous stuff out of each room and envision the future.
