Still during

How is the upstairs lounge going? A picture is worth a thousand words:

The gaps in the plaster moulding are not large, but the cornice moulding is elabourate and I'm cutting up and glueing together bits of wood moulding to mimic the shape. Then I have to figure out how to insert it into the somewhat crumbly plaster. I've also bought materials for two approaches to hanging the roman shade. I'm taking them to the seamstress this week to discuss with her, as I'll need a pocket sleeve thingy for either approach.

But there's progress. Two paintings up.

I haven't figured out what else goes on the wall below but I got the chains and S hooks to at least hang one painting.

A framing shop is collecting two photos from the house (wedding portraits), having them framed and delivering them back. That will help with the wall above. Below is work underway on the wardrobe. Four days removing the ceiling wallpaper and cleaning up. Four days sanding plaster and cleaning up. And then work to re-create the mouldings. I can't wait to start painting but still have a lot of spackling to do.

Implicit in these posts is lockdown affords little entertainment, so there isn't much else to do. I'm watching Call My Agent on Netflix and really enjoying.
