Sprint finish

Today I presented on a fellow student's paper comparing the Italian National Competition Authority to its counterpart in the UK. The student is Italian, her English is so-so, so it was hard to know how far to go in editing her paper. Another student's presentation was on my paper on LIBOR. We were to critically evaluate each other's work--what was missing, what assumptions were made, etc. We were to use track changes to edit each other's drafts and present our findings for 10 minutes.

Now that that is over with, I have two weeks to research and write four papers. I have a head start on the LIBOR paper, but I don't have a notion about the rest. I will spend the next two days in workshops learning dissertation-writing skills, so that will add a level of stress re. the next deadline. On the positive side, the quad was looking lovely today.
