Scotland and our house

In case you were wondering, we converted the rest of our house money from dollars into pounds before the Scottish vote. The pound snapped back a bit in the wake of the no vote, but not much. Still, we could sleep at night knowing that we were not putting our fate in the hands of the Hatfields and McCoys (descended from Scots and English).

We visited our house Monday night and met the neighbors, Michael and Faye Doherty, who gave us a tour of their house (which is the mirror of ours and separated by a thick wall). We are excited about our future home, yet daunted by all the work (and complicated logistics) of getting all the work done before we can move in.
