David was taking a painting class today from 10:30-4:30. After I took him into the city this morning (with his painting gear--not bus friendly), I had a walk through the Victorian Palm House in Botanic Garden. The flowers and plants I saw were so exotic and so weird and wonderful that I’m going to go back with a camera to try to capture some of them.
Then to the Ulster Museum for a leisurely walk through the Royal Ulster Academy exhibit. The range and quality of talent on display was mind blowing. Here’s a painting of the Palm House:
Here’s one of the award winning paintings of a dog called Tina:

It was a gorgeous day today so I spent the afternoon doing yard work, with help from my assistant Paddy. I squeezed in an hour-long power walk and podcast before going into the city to get David.
