Parc Guell 2

At the very top of Parc Guell, where a big mansion was probably once planned, we encounter a band. One of them was from Chile, one from Peru, one from Venezuela, I can’t remember the last. They were phenomenal. The guy with the smile playing percussion got up and danced flamenco on the board on the ground. That made my day.

We went to see a flamenco troupe one night--very talented. I love female flamenco dancers because they are so powerful, so strong, so expressive, so “don’t you mess with me” ive.

Gaudi wasn’t much for symmetry or right angles.
