On yer bike

I’m skipping Friday & Saturday as I don’t recall doing anything worth reporting.
Today (Sunday) however, David and I cycled along Strangford Lough to a restaurant called Daft Eddy’s. I try to express gratitude for all the joys in my life and I am grateful that I can get on a bike and ride 28 miles roundtrip just for the hell of it. Sore the next day, but still. It helps that the trip was very flat.

In front of the restaurant was a ruin of a tower house.

The restaurant is next to the harbour of a town called Whiterocks. My photo of the harbour wasn’t very good. I’m very aware now that all my photos are kind of grey--the original scene is brighter. Anyway, here’s an old lighthouse ship that is now moored and is the clubhouse for a sailing club. How cool is that?
