Nothing to Luz

We walked several miles along the cliffs to Luz then took a bus back to Lagos. I have 20 photos from this day, all stunning. It takes a while to load each one, so here's a sprinkling.

At one point, the cliff trail is washed out, so you climb down to the beach. This is the view in one direction.

And here's the other direction. Nice alternative to the Jersey Shore.

I was at the edge of a cliff a lot taking photos. I told David if I fell over, he'd be the primary suspect. He said he could prove his innocence by the fact that I was carrying the backpack (we alternated) and it contained the Digestives, and he would never waste a pack of Digestives. English humour.

I had an English Springer Spaniel once that was also very food motivated. Was it rations during the war or something?
The rooster is a common emblem in the Algarve. Something to do with a judge who pardoned a man protesting his innocence: "If I am innocent, this cock will crow" and he did, and the man was freed.
