More golf

From championship golf on Friday to rank amateur efforts today. I played nine holes at Belvoir Golf Club, where I joined for the summer after taking lessons there. Mom rode along in a buggy, giving me tips. It was a lovely day. As usual, I forgot to take photos on the course. Afterward, we had lunch in the club house. Here’s a view of the course and the Belfast hills in the distance.

And here are mom and I on the balcony off the front of the club house.

Mom really enjoys golf and she thinks I’m doing very well for a beginner. I don’t feel like I’ve played enough since the lessons to capitalise on what I was taught.
We had a very entertaining visit with David and Stuart after lunch. I had to pick up a key because I’ll be caring for Dodger, David's much much-loved and extremely spoiled cat. David shared with us how he blames Prince Phillip for Princess Diana’s death, commissioned to prevent her from having a child with Dodi Al-Fayed, son of Mohamed Al-Fayed, sworn enemy of the British monarchy. I offer no opinion on this theory.
