Midnight Mass

...is at 10 pm and over by 11. Go figure.

Today we went to Marietta, Ohio, to do some Christmas shopping. David is heading to New Jersey after Christmas to see his kids, so he bought a few things at a cooking shop we like. We were stunned to see linens and china from Ulster Weavers. The shop’s owner has been to Ireland, where he learned about the brand and decided to carry it. Small world. Except it’s a big world--Ulster Weavers’ products are made in China.

Mom and I went to midnight mass, counted our blessings, went home and climbed into our warm beds.
