Logistics

Today I worked on the logistics for tomorrow (flight to Stansted, bus to Golders Green, Underground to Kentish Town). And on the logistics for an April 4-10 trip back to the US for Uncle Bill’s funeral. I fly into Stewart NY and I take a bus from there to NYC, where I will stay with friends for two nights. Then a casino bus to Atlantic City, where I’ll stay a night with some of my many cousins. Then I’ll get a lift to Philly, where I’ll get to see lots of friends. Then Amtrak back to NYC, then the bus back to Stewart. I don’t have all of this booked, but I have my head around how it could work.

Today was a travel day. When I got to Kentish Town, I immediately began working on the online dialogue with Carolyn, getting everything in place in time for the Australians, who will be the first ones to engage with the online platform tomorrow morning their time. The platform facilitator is putting up three “provocations,” intended to get our audience of 30 experts to discuss strategies, insights, etc. around addressing emissions in Asia, particularly at utilities. Carolyn has worked incredibly hard to recruit participants and to get experts to write provocations. I hope we have a robust dialogue resulting in a clear plan of action.
