Since regular readers know I have a corny sense of humour, it is a safe bet photos from the Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon international test rose gardens will follow. I spent most of the day working on quarterly performance reports--taking a break for a hair cut. In the evening, David and I went to the rose gardens, where Danish, Dutch, German, English, Irish, Northern Irish and other rose growers compete. There are 10 gardens and thousands of varieties of roses. Here’s one garden:

As we left, I looked back toward the gardens for one last shot. It’s about 9 p.m. at this point--it’s light until 10 p.m.
