Home away from home

I wont' be going to London in April because my boss will be in Japan and China the first half of the month and I'll be on a holiday later in the month. Details to come. I will be there in late May for PRI's spring party--I'd hate to miss a party. My host when I'm in London, Rachel, is selling her maisonette, so I will have to find a new Air BnB. This is very distressing as I love my little room.

Rachel has a two-story apartment in a four story apartment building. So a row of apartments on the ground floor and a row on the third floor. It is modest, but it is all I need. A 25-minute walk to the office and service on the District Line to the West End. My view:

That is life though. All is changeable. Nothing is immutable. Look at fucking Brexit. Hopefully I'll find something else in this general area, as it's quiet and a pleasant commute down Brick Lane (after walking down Pelter Street, Gascoigne Place and Swanfield Street). I am a creature of habit so I don't want to learn all new routes.
