Groomsport & Donaghadee

Sundays go like this for me. Walk the dog. Get breakfast sorted for mom and then get her into a neighbour's car for mass. Then to the golf club for 9 holes, more if I can fit it in. Then home and take mom somewhere lovely.

Today we started in Groomsport on the coast. Here's mom rollating on the coastal path.

Here's the marina at Groomsport

Then on to Donaghadee, which has a wee castle perched above it.

And it has a lovely lighthouse. As in Groomsport, the boats are in dry dock so it isn't quite as colourful as the rest of the year.

Then we had dinner in a pub. Mom had a traditional Sunday roast while I had a questionable roast veg risotto. I'm suspicious I was eating plain rice, not arborio rice, which I thought is what made risotto risotto. But I'm happy as long as I'm not cooking.
