Gone to the dogs

In more ways than one. For one thing, my neighbour's dog Crumble stayed the night with me on Saturday night, after Paddy had stayed at Crumble's for the previous two nights. She got bed privileges, like Paddy, and didn't stir all night. She slept at the bottom of the bed when I was in it, but made a bold move for the pillow once I got up.

What I should have done on Sunday: unpacked, hoovered, mowed, shopped for groceries and switched summer and winter clothes around. What I did instead: played golf. I took the dogs for a long walk in the morning and my dog walker has Paddy out in the afternoon. It was a sunny day, so very hard to do chores all day. I won't get out to play again until Friday, so I had to make the most of today.

A few more photos from the weekend. My favourite:

Here's three of our foursome. Chris, Barbara and me.

Here are Ali and Patricia.

And our foursome prior to tee off.

I have a very busy week ahead. So I don't feel great about heading into it with a messy house and no food in the fridge. Golf will be the ruination of me!
