Galgorm
I tend to do chores on Saturdays and play golf on Sundays. This weekend I wanted out of that rut so I went with some friends to a golf tournament at Galgorm Castle. Here we are:

It was a really fun day, and interesting to watch the women golfers. It was an interesting format on the final day--3 women, then 3 men, then 3 women, all day. Same purse for both genders. We watched the last group, a Thai woman, Pajaree Anannarukarn, and two Americans: Jennifer Kupcho, and Emma Talley.

Talley, from Kentucky, in the foreground, and Kupcho in the background, about to hit a shot into the water next to the sinister 18th green, taking her out. Below, Anannarukarn has just hit a lovely shot onto the green.

And here is Talley putting out, leaving her even with Anannarukarn.

We left at this point to beat the crowd that would depart after the sudden death. Anannarukarn and Talley played the 18th two more times before the Thai pulled ahead by a shot. Too bad, I was pulling for Talley because I'd seen an interview with her and she seemed really nice. Her opponent may be just as pleasant but I researched only Talley b/c she was ahead at the end of the first two days.
My takeaway: swing a lot before you hit a shot. Not big, perfect practice swings, but just swinging your arms back and forth to keep loose and feel a rhythm.
