For relaxation...

I paint every night. We are finishing the kitchen and working on the trim in the guest bedroom, after which we need to polyurethane the bedroom floor. Our first guests arrive May 29 for a week. David leaves May 23 for a week in the states. As I mentioned, I have four papers due at the end of May. So it is clear we are up against it. I've been pretty stressed out since school began in September, so I think I'm just used to stress now.
Walking back from the bus this evening, I took this photo of our lovely street.

The combination of the street trees and the trees in each house's front garden means every house has a lot of privacy and you feel like you live in a park.
