Fairhead deux

Early on during this 2-hour hike, I ate my sandwich and a pastry I bought at Donnelly’s Bakery (just up the street from Donnelly’s Hardware, which is across the street from Donnelly’s the Butcher). Watching the Sea of Moyle on the boil I couldn’t help but remember the ferry crossing to Rathlin island, during which I nearly lost my lunch. Now, sitting on terra firma, I was thinking how nice it is to eat lunch sitting above the sea rather than contemplating losing your lunch while on it.

I’ve always loved how random boulders are called erratics. That just tickles my fancy. There were several on the hike.

I kind of have a thing for these bridges. Rathlin in the background.

Is this cliff giving me the finger?
