Decking, part 2

I met yesterday at the house with the water guy, the gas guy, and the contractor. We need to replace a lead water pipe serving the house with PVC. And we are replacing our oil burner with a gas one, which requires a line to be run to the house. Every other house in the neighborhood has already been updated (you can see the patches in the road connecting to the main lines).
The contractor went over the numbers with me (glad I was sitting down). He can get started next week. We hope to be in by Feb. 1.
