Dec. 14: Choir
A few posts to document that this has been a great Christmas season so far. My choir spent Saturday morning singing carols at a grocery store.
We put a bucket out and raised 140 pounds in an hour for Habitat for Humanity. The choir is made up of members from two churches, one Catholic, one Presbyterian. They are jointly organising a trip for members to Cambodia to build houses. The two churches do a Habitat trip every other year.
The woman all the way to the left is Christine. She does in fact have a plush toy turkey on her head. She gave me one to wear as well, I'm behind two women in blue Habitat t-shirts with my turkey hat. Our choir director is all the way to the right with one of her two grandchildren. It was great seeing the wee ones react to our performance.
