Comber Greenway

We stopped by the house to check on progress and the skip is filling up. Then we got the bikes out of the shed and cycled to Comber and back, about 10 miles, on a former rail line that is now a cycle path. It was quite lovely. Reminded me a bit of the Perkiomen Trail in Pennsylvania.

Then our neighbor Marshall had us in for tea--we've now had tea with the neighbors on both sides. He's a widower and he and his wife had known Hillary and her husband for 45 years. Hillary's neighbors on the other side have lived there slightly longer than Hillary did--26 years. It must be hard for these old friends to see their little community disband.
