Clap for the NHS
A music teacher lives across the street from me. Cars come and go all the time discharging young people for music lessons. Now that we clap for the NHS on Thursday nights, my neighbour and her husband, Jacquie and Neil, come out with a keyboard, speaker, and microphone, and play songs. They sing, some of the neighbours sing, little kids dance in the street. It's great. And a wonderful antidote to spending all day in my little office doing battle with technology. We moved from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams, so more tricks to learn.
Still, I'm lucky to have work. So many people are furloughed and are facing financial stress.
Here are some photos of the Chilean fire tree in the front garden while I'm at it. She's having a banner year.
And another.
