Caseys

Today was my fourth and final golf lesson. Afterward, I went up to the clubhouse for tea with a few of my fellow students, all very nice women at some stage of retirement (working part-time like me or fully retired). To my right were three women whose maiden name was Casey. Two were sisters from Cavan and the third was from Roscommon. To my left was a woman whose married name is McGovern. My biological father was McGovern and my mother’s maiden name was Casey. So I could be related to the whole group, which may explain why we got on so well! Of course I don’t get on at all with my own sister, so my logic is a bit flawed there.
