Tuesday through Friday. Hmmm. There was much dog handling, entertaining, cleaning up after. I played golf with two neighbours on Thursday. I kept meaning to get to a film or swing dance lesson but I hate to leave little Paddy. I am trying to give him time in his kennel each morning and afternoon. When I start working from home, I’ll need him to be OK spending time by himself so I can be productive.

Thursday night I joined the choir at Gilnahirk Presbyterian Church to practice for the carol night, 23 December. I’ve been to the church twice before to rehearse with Contact, a community choir that meets at the church. Contact members were invited to join the church choir for Christmas. I’ve met a lot of lovely people at both Contact and the church choir, so I’m really enjoying getting embedded in the neighbourhood.
