Beating the drum for Bangor

One of the reasons we chose a townhouse on the marina in Bangor is it suits our lifestyle to a T.
T. Bangor is a Fairtrade Town. Here's the mission statement: "Bangor Fair-Trade exists at a local level to support the global campaign for a world in which justice and sustainable development is the focus of trade structures for everyone, especially the Third World, so that through their work everyone can live a dignified life and develop their full potential through their work." The linked page above lists the 5 steps necessary to become a Fairtrade Town. Pretty awesome.
T. David can walk five minutes to the train station. The express train to Belfast takes 15 minutes.
T. I can walk 10 minutes to the gym.
T. Maysie and I are less than two minutes from gorgeous views along the coastal path.
T. We can walk into Bangor and shop at a co-op grocery store, eat at any number of restaurants, including many curry shops, go to the Post Office, whatever.

We always felt too isolated in Chester Springs, so this is a very welcome change.
