An Outing!
I was meant to play golf with Marian in Ballycastle today, the summer bank holiday. However my shoulder is in a bad way. I've been icing it to relieve the pain and taking lots of Aleve.
I had arranged for David to walk Paddy today. Since I couldn't play golf, I invited myself to join David, who was going to Mount Stewart. I haven't been to a National Trust property since lockdown--you have to reserve a time, which requires more organisational skills than I have.

It was fun to look around. The gardens weren't quite as manicured as usual, which gave them a looser air that suited them.

Mom likes gladiolas, so I took photos of two lovely specimens.
