"All this and heaven too"

When we toured Mountstewart yesterday, there was an elderly woman pushing a walker through the gardens. I smiled as I passed her and she twinkled at me and said: "All this and heaven too!" I thought that was wonderful.

R&B took it easy today, after covering a lot of ground in three days. The weather was awful this afternoon, so holing up was the way to go. They aren't used to having time to themselves, so they were quite content reading and catching up on paperwork. I ran errands and picked up a curry on the way home that they had called in. It was sunny and blustery this evening, so they had a nice walk to Stormont and back. Poor David has run up against bad weather in Newark, so he's flying home a day late.
